ZET SINQE SERIES RUNS 2025


We are proud to announce that Run Alex has been selected to host the 3rd leg of the Zet Sinqe Series in October 2025!


As further recognition of our Junior Development Program, Central Gauteng Athletics and The Zithulele Sinqe Foundation has entrusted us with this prestigious event, Westrand (May) and Vosloorus (August)—three clubs known for their strong development structures.

The series aims to build a competitive 1-mile race for Juniors while also offering a 5km run open to everyone. The 1-mile competition will cater to U13, U15, U17,and U19 age groups, fostering young talent and growing the sport.


The Zet Sinqe Foundation Runs honour the legacy of legendary South African runner Zithulele Sinqe, promoting community wellness and athletic excellence. These events inspire young and aspiring athletes through inclusive road races, development clinics, and talent showcases, fostering unity, discipline, and opportunity. The foundation empowers future champions while celebrating South Africa’s rich running heritage.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register as a participant, kindly visit https://irunsa.co.za/EventDetails?id=119. Existing users may log on, scroll down to the event poster and select the event they would like to purchase and proceed to payment link.

To register as a coach/parent, please follow the following steps:

​

1. Please create your profile using the following link https://irunsa.co.za/EventDetails?id=119

​

2. Create the profiles of the athletes that you would like to register for under your profile. By clicking menus icon and selecting “my athletes”

​

3. Once completed, proceed to home page, scroll down to the event poster, select event.

​

4. Add the event to your cart, accept terms and conditions and then select “register participants”. Select athletes to register for the events.

​

5. Once completed, view your cart and proceed to payment link
