About:

Many stories are told about the iconic township of Alexandra. Now we invite you to come Explore Alex on Foot and write your own story. Along the route, you will pass many places of worship that held the township together during difficult times, entertainment hubs that have over the years drawn many first-time visitors to Alex and sports facilities that nurtured talents, producing stars who have made their mark on the world. 

Join us for a 5km and 10km, our 5km has many junior prize categories that will allow children of different ages to compete in different age categories.

Taking the Gautrain

Take the Gautrain for an easy and stress-free journey to Adreach Alex 10K. Gautrain is the official transport partner for the Adreach Alex 10K. Depending on your starting point, choose the nearest Gautrain station and use the train to Marlboro Station which is only 2km from the start venue. We will offer a free Gautrain Midibus shuttle service between the Marlboro station and the race venue. Standard Gautrain fares and T's & C's will apply. Project 1. Community Gym: Help us build a gym accessible to all members of the Alex community, promoting health and wellness for everyone.
