The Read Alex Spelling Bee is now in its third year of celebrating literacy and encouraging young learners to develop confidence in reading, spelling, and public speaking.
This competition is open only to learners who live and attend school in Alexandra.

About the Competition
Our story
The Read Alex Spelling Bee was launched three years ago to promote reading, improve spelling skills, and encourage a love for literacy among children in Alexandra.
Since its beginning, the competition has grown every year and continues to bring together schools, teachers, parents, and learners to celebrate education.
Our goal is to help children build confidence, improve their vocabulary, and develop strong communication skills while making learning enjoyable.
Eligibility & Rules
Residential
Alexandra

A learner must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
Dress code
School Uniform

Wear full school uniform on the competition day.
